About us

Broadland Boat Hire has been in business since 2008, however our experience of boat hire on the Norfolk Broads goes back to 1973. In the intervening years we have arranged boating breaks on the Broads for thousands of holidaymakers on a range of boats from 2 to 12 berths and from budget to superior rated craft.

Why use Broadland Boat Hire?

Our site is unique in that it brings together cruisers from Hoseasons Boats and Blakes Boating Holidays including boatyards such as Richardsons, Barnes Brinkcraft, Faircraft Loynes and Silverline as well as some of the independent boatyards of the Norfolk Broads making it easier and faster to compare facilities and prices. Why confine yourselves to one boatyard's offerings when you can call up over 300 cruisers at prices to match all pockets.

Help and advice for first time boat holidaymakers

If you have never experienced a boating holiday before, the choice of boats, start points, onboard facilities etc can be bewildering. We make it easier for you by detailing the advantages of the different steering positions, explaining what that "bow thruster" does, why a 240volt supply onboard is not essential, video guides showing how to master mooring, tieing up your boat and navigating the bridges of the Norfolk Broads amongst others and how long it will take you to cruise from point A to point B. Hopefully, you will find we have all your queries covered.

We are here to help before and long after you have made your booking. You can call us with any query however small. As Norfolk Broads boating enthusiasts ourselves, we will be delighted to assist.
